Bought this for my 8-yr old daughter. She loves it and will wear only this pair every time she steps out. She finds it to be very comfortable and it looks great. Haven't experienced it in rain or snow yet, so can't comment on its water-proof nature or how it handles slippery surfaces.

I purchased these for my 2 yr old son. We live at the beach in southern California and they are perfect for cold days. They are well made and he loves them. I was looking for uggs, but just couldn't justify spending that much on a shoe that may be outgrown in a season. These are just as good half the price!

This boot is so soft on the inside and is built very sturdily. I am very happy with constructions. My daughter is 2.5 years old and it comes more than half way up her calf. Also of note is that because there is no zip, it is slip-on, you may have trouble getting foot in correctly and pushed all the way to the bottom, causing discomfort and child to fall or hurt ankle when they stand up. So make darn sure foot is all the way in. Socks, if they are just ankle socks will roll off the foot when putting boot on as well. We sprayed ours with waterproofing 3 coats per manufacturers directions so boot is waterproof. Daughter can take these off easily but has trouble putting them on all by herself. Still happy with purchase, nice warm cute boots.
