Dont be surprised if your stands come with broken off knobs.
The company has these fully assembled on the post when they should be individually packaged.
If you have high end speakers that are going on these things ya better look for something sturdier
I dont have a problem putting a set of low dollar 52lbs. speakers on them though.
There are just too many locking clamps and handles that should be made out of aluminum instead of
plastic.
I would not travel too much with these.The constant set up and tear down is not
supportive of the materials used to manufacture this stand.

My daughter moved into a rental house where hanging items on the plaster walls is discouraged by the landlord. She wanted a 5.1 surround sound system to go with her 42" Samsung plasma HDTV. Since she already had 2 left/right floor standing speakers and 2 surround sound speakers on Atlantic Satellite stands so the problem was how to place the center channel speaker at the right height behind her TV and entertainment stand. The Atlantic Satellite stands only extend to 50" so I looked for something taller and inexpensive. The Pyle-Pro speaker stand fit the bill because the her TV was angled into a corner of the living room allowing enough room for the tripod legs. The stand is very stable and heavy-duty probably overkill for a smallish center channel speaker but it works as intended. I uploaded a picture to show how it was set up. As others have mentioned the carton for this stand could use some reinforcing since it arrived with the top of the box somewhat crushed but my inspection revealed that it was in perfect condition, no dents or broken knobs.
